Development Update - Patch 1.07

Hello again everyone

I have been overwhelmed by the outpour of support I've gotten since release, the response to the game has been insane and beyond my wildest dreams. Thanks to everyone who has played it and everyone who will.

I've got a lot of feedback within the past week, most of it has been incredibly positive, but some of it has been very constructive. I've even noticed some problems of my own over time, hence my small poll from last week (which I wish got more responses but what responses I did get paint a pretty good picture of where I potentially went wrong). While I'd love to rest on my laurels a bit longer and start to devote my full attention to my next game, it was obvious there's some unfinished business I have with this little thing.

I do intend to move forward with the development of my next project, but I'm still going to be working on Abyss. This small Quality-of-life update is hopefully going to be the first of a few small updates, though don't expect too much for the time being.

1.07 is a small, admittedly kinda rushed update that answers some of the criticisms I've gotten regarding audio volume. One feature in particular ( the audio sliders) isn't the best it could be and I do hope to revisit them in a later update, I just wanted to get this update in your hands before I probably go dark for awhile.

Thanks for everything, I love you all

~Madi

Patch Notes are below:

Ver 1.07

-Re-Aligned text on End room

-The loop counter has been moved to the end room, and displays even if you haven't looped to further communicate that that is a mechanic.

-Audio is now handled in groups, making it easier to control stuff like volume.

-Added a brief loading screen as the game loads in audio assets.

-Added a volume slider for music on the start menu (It's a bit janky, sound effects sadly don't seem to work with this system currently)

-Increased the overall volume gain.

Get abyss.
